Color Test (Ishihara plate):
Purpose:
Chromatic deficiency screening.
Definition:
The test presented is the «Ishihara» type.
Perception of colors is measured by 6 distinctly numbered boxes.
Each box is composed of a variable mosaic of dots, luminosities and colors.
Zones of dots of similar colors form numbers.
Each box contains a number composed of two figures.
Colors are chosen so that an abnormality in color perception makes it difficult to recognize certain numbers.
In total, these tests present 12 lines of chromatic confusion.
